At least 363 children killed during war in Ukraine – Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine

As a result of Russia's war against Ukraine, at least 363 children were killed, and another 718 were injured of varying degrees of severity. It is reported by the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.

The report of the department emphasizes that these data are not final, as the counting of victims continues in places of active hostilities and in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

The Prosecutor General's Office also reports on the latest recorded cases of death and injury of children. On August 19, an 8-year-old girl was wounded as a result of Russian artillery shelling of the village of Shevchenkivske, Zaporozhye region. It also became known that on August 12, during the shelling of Kramatorsk by Russian troops, a 12-year-old girl was wounded, and on May 27, a 9-year-old girl was killed as a result of Russian shelling of residential buildings in the village of Bolshoye Artakovo, Mykolaiv region.

Also, due to the bombing and shelling by the Russian armed forces, 2328 educational institutions of Ukraine were damaged. Of these, 289 were completely destroyed.
