The head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Yevgeny Primakov , proposed holding a "creative competition" for the best video with former State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev, "crawling on broken legs." This statement was made after Ponomarev announced the involvement of the partisan movement in the murder of the daughter of publicist Alexander Dugin, Darya.
“Such a civil competition. For example: a competition for the best video or photo of Ponomarev (why not?), crawling on broken legs and apologizing, spitting his teeth. No mutilation, we don't want anything like that in any way. Payment exclusively for creative work – photo, video. And how you get it – here only your creativity is the true criterion, ”he wrote.
The day before, Ilya Ponomarev on the YouTube channel "February Morning" said that the "National Republican Army" was behind the blowing up of Dugin's daughter's car. He said that he allegedly was able to establish contact with the activists of the organization through the Rospartizan resource. According to him, the people behind the attack expected that not only Daria, but also Alexander Dugin would be in the car.
Ponomarev also read out the movement's manifesto, which reads in part:
“Our goal is to stop the destruction of Russia and its neighbors, to stop the activities of a handful of Kremlin businessmen who suck at the wealth of our people and commit crimes today inside and outside the country. We declare officials of the government of the Russian Federation and regional administrations to be accomplices of the usurper – those who do not resign their powers will be destroyed by us.
On August 21, Alexander Dugin and his daughter were returning from the Tradition family festival in the Zakharovo estate near Moscow. The 112 Telegram channel claims that a bomb was planted in Dugina's car in the estate's parking lot. At the time of the explosion, only Daria was in the car, she died on the spot. Dugin's acquaintances claim that he himself was supposed to drive in the car, but at the last moment he changed his mind and got into another car.
The head of the self-proclaimed DPR, Denis Pushilin, blamed Ukraine for the incident. "The terrorists of the Ukrainian regime, trying to eliminate Alexander Dugin, blew up his daughter," he said.
Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said that Ukraine was not involved in the death of Dugina: “I emphasize that Ukraine, of course, has nothing to do with this, because we are not a criminal state, which is the Russian Federation, and even less a terrorist state.”
