Zaporizhzhya NPP invaders said that the rocket that arrived from their territory was actually Ukrainian, it just turned 180 °

Advisor to the Director General of Rosatom Renat Karchaa explained to the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi why the rocket that fell in Energodar looks like it came from the occupied territory. According to him, the thing is that the projectile, landing, makes a 180 ° turn.

Some missiles do turn in the air, such as air defense missiles. However, the video shows a multiple rocket launcher that flies straight and lands in the direction of flight.

The day after the video was published, Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko announced that Ukraine had imposed personal sanctions on Karchaa:

“Today you are a guide at the station, and tomorrow you have sanctions,” Galushchenko wrote on his Facebook page.

The IAEA delegation arrived at the Zaporozhye NPP on September 1. It consists of experts from Poland, Lithuania, China, France and countries other than Russia and the USA. The bulk of the delegation left the same day. The remaining experts remained at the station to assess the operation of the equipment and to inspect the working conditions of the station's employees.
