The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, admitted that he had sat too long in his post and deserved an "indefinite vacation." A video with an appeal appeared on his Telegram channel. It is not known whether the politician was serious or decided to check the reaction of the Russians to his statement.
Almost every word from the mouth of the head of the republic sounds the word-parasite in his speeches "don".
Kadyrov recalled that he had been in charge of the republic for 15 years, and cited a Caucasian proverb: "No matter how respected, long-awaited the guest is, if he leaves on time, then it is even more pleasant." He also added that he was leaving before he was "kicked out."
Kadyrov ended his speech with the statement: "Akhmat is strength."
Kadyrov recently received another award: the title of "Hero of the LPR". Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, he has actively supported the statements of Vladimir Putin, commenting on them on his Telegram channel with 2.7 million subscribers. At the end of July, he announced that Putin had awarded him the Order of Alexander Nevsky "for his great contribution to the socio-economic development of the Chechen Republic and the effective solution of tasks of great national importance."
The head of Chechnya is famous for threatening the opposition, he also repeatedly threatened the family of the former judge of the Supreme Court of Chechnya Saidi Yangulbaev, as a result, some family members had to leave Russia. In addition, he instructed armed men to follow the lawyers of the “Team Against Torture”, who are defending Yangulbaev's wife, Zarema Musaeva. Kadyrov called the family "accomplices of terrorists" and urged them to detain, and in case of resistance – to "destroy" them all. In 2021, Abubakar Yangulbaev, a judge’s son, an employee of the Committee against Torture, said that “Kadyrov’s men kidnapped” about forty of his relatives living in the Chechen village of Goity and in Grozny.
