The Ministry of Justice of the Sverdlovsk Region warned Oleg Kumysh, the owner of Yekaterinburg's Tele Club concert venues, about the existence of criminal penalties under articles on "discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation" and "calling for the introduction of restrictive measures against the Russian Federation."
The letter, signed by Minister Svetlana Uchaikina, says that the existence of these articles "should be taken into account" when providing concert venues to artists, 7×7 reports . The Tele-Club poster does indeed contain scheduled concerts by performers who spoke negatively about the war unleashed by Putin in Ukraine. There are no transfer notices next to them yet.
At the end of June, the Moscow club "GlavClub" canceled the performances of the singer Manizhi, the group "Accident" and the group Anacondaz. According to the club's administration, this decision was made under pressure from the authorities.
