In Sevastopol, a teacher was fired because of the color of balloons

In Sevastopol, the parents of schoolchildren distributed a photo from the Knowledge Day at school No. 22 – the photo shows combinations of yellow-blue balloons. According to the parents, the teacher arranged the balls in this order. After the scandal, she decided to quit, the principal of the school, which signed the dismissal, said that "there was a burnout."

“There was no special Ukrainian propaganda there. There, the only thing that was Ukrainian symbols – she rearranged the balls so that there was yellow and blue – there was a drawing of a child and it was written in Ukrainian "Happy September 1!". But nothing was said about Ukraine at the lesson,” school director Irina Klimova told reporters.

In the photo, all the inscriptions are in Russian, but in the corner next to the icon there is a small Ukrainian flag. Klimova also said that despite the dismissal of the teacher, she will "speak the kindest words about her work as a teacher."

“Even though I fired her, I will still protect the teacher. She is a lonely person, she has put her whole life on school, but this is how it happened, – says the director. “And I don’t know how she will survive all this. We sat with her yesterday talking for two and a half hours. She is a good teacher, but something happened, some kind of burnout. But we all have the right to make mistakes, and in any case I will say the kindest words about her work as a teacher. Don't dance on bones."

In February 2022, a teacher in Sevastopol was fired with a scandal for a comment on the account of the local “governor” Mikhail Razvozhaev. Natalya Elgina complained about the low salary and mentioned that Razvozhaev's son was in her class. After the dismissal, security officials from the anti-extremism department came to Yelgina. The woman was strongly advised not to “spoil relations with people”, explained that “active opposition” would not lead to anything good, and was forbidden to talk about this conversation on social networks.
