APU entered Kupyansk

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) entered the Russian-occupied Kupyansk. This is indicated by photographs and videos published by the military themselves.

In the first photo, the soldiers stand with the Ukrainian flag, which bears the logo of the 1st Assault Battalion, and the Russian flag lying on the ground. In the background is the city council of Kupyansk.

In the second photo, three of the four soldiers from the first photo are standing with the same flag, but on the roof of the building. The area can be verified by the church seen from behind. This is the Temple of St. Luke of Crimea, and the military are standing on the roof of the 14th house on May 1 Street.

Also, a video filmed from the same roof was published on the LUHANSKINA OPERATIVNA Telegram channel. Judging by the metadata, it could have been taken today, September 10, at 5:42.

Z-channels also report that the Russian military has withdrawn from Kupyansk.

“Kupyansk is partially abandoned, the right bank is under the Nazis. Our army goes beyond the Oskol River to take up defense there. I support this decision,” writes the Telegram channel “ZAPISKI VETERAN”.

“The abandonment of the western part (approximately 2/3 of the city) of Kupyansk by our troops has been confirmed. They have already started talking about the fact that, they say, the “correct tactical decision” is “to go beyond the water line and organize defense there,” writes Igor Strelkov-Girkin.
