The Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated Goptovka, a border checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Dergachev district of the Kharkiv region. This is reported by "Unian" with reference to the video, which was distributed by the Ukrainian military of the 130th troop battalion.
“On September 11, Goptovka came under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” one of the servicemen says in the video. There is no official confirmation from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine yet.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation at a daily briefing showed a map from which it follows that as of September 11, only a small territory in the east of the Kharkov region, across the Oskol River, remains under Russian control. Judging by the map, Russia in particular left the city of Volchansk. Earlier, Ukrainian media and telegram channels wrote that Ukrainian flags were noticed in Volchansk. This is the last city of Kharkiv region, which remained under the control of Russia.
In total, according to the estimates of the Agency, during the offensive of the Ukrainian army, which began near the city of Balakliya at the beginning of the week, Russia could lose 8.6 thousand square kilometers. From the data of the Ministry of Defense it follows that Russia now controls about 2 thousand square kilometers in the Kharkov region. At the end of August, it controlled 10.6 thousand square kilometers, or 33.7% of the region.
