In Ryazan, the Public Observation Center offered to violate the secrecy of the vote in order to write a statement against the voter. This is reported by the project of the public observation movement "Voice" "Map of Violations".
It all started with the fact that observers from the Public Chamber of the Ryazan region received information from an anonymous Telegram channel about the damage to the ballot at Ryazan PEC No. 838. The report said that one of the voters wrote insults against the Russian army on his ballot.
Upon learning of this, the Center for Public Monitoring at the Civic Chamber of the Ryazan Region contacted the chairman of PEC No. 838. Representatives of the Center instructed the members of the election commission to remove the spoiled ballot from the ballot box, and also suggested that they contact the “relevant authorities”.
Earlier, Ukrainian politician Anton Gerashchenko made a call to spoil the ballots with anti-war statements:
“I call on all Russians who want this criminal war to end faster, write on the ballots “NO TO WAR!”. This is how you express your silent protest against the killings and against the Putin regime. This will be your small but courageous contribution to stopping the carnage.”
