In Kharkiv, as a result of new shelling of critical infrastructure facilities, electricity and water were lost, the head of the city, Igor Terekhov, said .

Kharkiv metro "for technical reasons" suspended the movement of trains. People are forced to walk through the tunnels.

“The situation of yesterday evening is repeated. Due to shelling, critical infrastructure facilities were put out of action, as a result of which power went out in Kharkov and water supply was cut off, ”Terekhov said.

He added that power engineers, rescuers and utility workers are now working on eliminating the consequences.

The head of the Kharkiv administration, Oleg Sinegubov, in turn, said that Osnovyansky and Kyiv districts were shelled in Kharkov, one person was killed, four more were injured.

On September 11, the Ukrainian authorities announced that Russia had shelled infrastructure facilities in the Kharkiv region, including CHPP-5. Because of this, Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions were de-energized. Power was soon restored in most areas.
