“No money, hold on!” Dmitry Medvedev rents a plot worth half a billion for a thousand rubles. But I didn’t pay a thousand

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev indicates in his declaration of the deputy chairman of the Security Council the use of a plot of 47 acres. As follows from the hacked correspondence published on the Black Mirror Telegram channel, Medvedev rented the land back in 2002 in the Krasnogorsk region.

Lease agreement dated 2002

The term of the contract is 49 years. The rental price is also indicated: 1354 rubles per year. And over the years, it has not increased: in any case, as of 2015, it remained the same. But even this little money Medvedev did not pay. He had a debt of 16 thousand rubles and another 12 thousand as a penalty.

Medvedev's site is located in the Arkhangelskoye dacha settlement. One hundred square meters here costs 13.5 million rubles. Accordingly, Medvedev's land can be estimated at 630 million.

From the same letter it follows that other prominent statesmen – Mikhail Menu, Dmitry Kozak and German Gref – got the neighboring plots.

The signature of the official who stands under the contract is also curious. At that time, the head of the Krasnogorsk district, Boris Rasskazov, allocated the plot to Medvedev on favorable terms. And then he just found himself at the center of a corruption scandal: in May 2004, Rasskazov became a defendant in a case of abuse of power for a deal approved by him in 1999 to sell LogoVAZ JSC a land plot in the village of Petrovo-Dalnaya with an area of more than 14 hectares, seized from a recreation complex "Zhukovka". The plot went to the daughter of businessman Boris Berezovsky. In November 2004, by a court decision, the land was returned to state ownership, and the case of Boris Rasskazov was soon closed. In other words, the case against the head of the district was closed immediately after, after he actually donated the elite site to Dmitry Medvedev, at that time the first deputy head of the presidential administration.
