Residents of the Rostov region reported an explosion, eyewitnesses talk about the work of air defense in Taganrog

In several cities of the Rostov region, the sound of a powerful explosion was heard. According to the local publication 161.ru , he was heard within a radius of about 200 km – from Yeysk in the south to Novoshakhtinsk in the north.

According to eyewitnesses, their fences trembled. In Rostov-on-Don, car alarms went off. In the Azov area near Peshkovo, three or four pockets of black smoke were seen.

Residents of Rostov-on-Don confirmed to The Insider that the explosion was heard in three different parts of the city at once, but no smoke was visible in the city. According to eyewitnesses, the windows in their houses trembled. “Normally, it banged like that, everyone heard it,” one of the interlocutors said.

The sound of the explosion was also heard in Bataysk, sources told The Insider, but it was not as loud.

Baza, citing photographs and videos of eyewitnesses, writes that air defense is operating in Taganrog, and black smoke is visible near the village of Chaltyr (about 20 km from Rostov-on-Don).

The press service of the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Rostov region told 161.ru that they had no information about explosions or any emergencies.

Meanwhile, 161.ru reports , citing a source in law enforcement agencies, that the police of Rostov-on-Don on September 11 put on the wanted list a military truck "Ural", which allegedly could bring a group of "Ukrainian saboteurs" into the Rostov region. According to the publication, the orientation says that the police are looking for at least six trucks in the Russian regions. According to the document, a dark green tarpaulin Ural with a pattern in the form of a bear's paw on one of the doors is being searched for on the Don.
