The Moscow Arbitration Court recognized the bankruptcy application of the Russian legal entity Google as justified and introduced a six-month monitoring procedure for the company, RIA Novosti reports .

The court will consider the bankruptcy case on the merits on March 13, 2023.

The Russian subsidiary of Google filed for bankruptcy on June 17. The company said that the amount of creditors' claims exceeded 19 billion rubles, while the company's assets amounted to about 3.5 billion.

In 2022, the company’s property in Russia was seized as security for the claims of Russian media, whose YouTube channels were deleted by Google.

Also on Google, according to the claims of Roskomnadzor, a turnover fine was imposed in the amount of more than 7.2 billion rubles, which the company had to pay before March 19.

In May, the bailiffs opened a case on the forced collection of these funds.
