Vitaly Gura, appointed by Russia as the “deputy head” of the Novokakhovka administration for housing and communal services, is actually alive, and his murder turned out to be a staging by the FSB “in the name of salvation.” This is stated in the morning newscast on Channel One.
Gura, who was allegedly “shot with a Makarov pistol” in early August, appeared on Russian television. The issue states that both relatives and friends of Gura all this time believed that he was dead. At the same time, with their “staging”, the security service allegedly prevented a real attempt. Gura was provided with an audio recording, which claims that "they want to kill him."
Also on Channel One they showed part of the “negotiations”, in which one of the employees of the SBU department with the name “Ilya Bondarchuk” discusses the murder of Gura with an unknown person. An unidentified man in a video provided by the security services claims that he personally negotiated with Bondarchuk. At the same time, the customer directly and openly discussed the details in voice messages, according to the FSB.
As evidence, Channel One also provides screenshots of correspondence, in which the messenger provides rates for the “murders” of pro-Russian officials, including Pavel Filippchuk, the head of the administration of Nova Kakhovka, for whom they promised “200,000 hryvnias.” According to the correspondent, the special services detained all the "participants", except for Bondarchuk, who is on the territory of Ukraine.
In addition, the “deputy chief of police” of Nova Kakhovka, who also participated in the “staging”, appeared in the plot. Information about the murder of Tomko was published in the Ukrainian media and Telegram channels.
On August 6, military commander Yuri Kotenok reported that Gur died while being transported to a Crimean hospital after an assassination attempt was made on him. The death was reported by both Ukrainian sources (“Strana.ua”) and the Kremlin media. Before that, RIA Novosti, citing a source in the administration, reported that an attempt had been made on Gur, he was in a hospital in serious condition. According to the source of the agency, the attack took place near Gur's house: unknown people shot him with a Makarov pistol, spent cartridge cases from PM were allegedly found on the spot.
Since the beginning of the war, assassination attempts on pro-Russian officials in Ukraine have become widespread, but this is the first time Russian authorities have reported such a staging. Earlier, the Russian Investigative Committee reported that ex-deputy of the Servant of the People party Alexei Kovalev, who had defected to Russia during the war, was killed : he was attacked in his house, he died from a gunshot wound. In July, in the Russian-occupied Kharkiv region, a car with Yevgeny Yunakov, appointed by the Russian Federation to the post of head of the village of Veliky Burluk, was blown up, he died. In June, in Kherson, the car of the Russian-appointed head of the Department of Family, Youth and Sports of the so-called military-civilian administration (MAC) of the Kherson region, Dmitry Savluchenko, was blown up, he also died on the spot.
