The founder of Agatha Christie, who supports the war in Ukraine, took the last place in the elections to the city duma

The founder of the Agatha Christie group, Vadim Samoilov, took the last place in the elections to the Asbest City Duma in the Sverdlovsk Region.

Judging by the final counts, 208 people voted for Samoilov in constituency No. 15. The first place in this area was taken by the representative of the Communist Party, the current deputy Yevgeny Shabanov, who received 366 votes.

Previously, Samoilov spoke in support of United Russia, traveled to Donbass with concerts and supported the war in Ukraine:

“I think that if we do not succumb to tantrums and emotions, then each of us will be able to understand the causes and facts of what is happening. And I hope that our population will have clarity. In general, we need to be calm, focused, and, of course, we need to support our armed forces now more than ever.”

On September 12, it became known that in the elections of governors in almost all subjects of the Russian Federation where elections were held, the current heads of regions representing United Russia won. According to official figures, United Russia candidates retained their posts in 14 regions.
