Rosobrnadzor will include questions about the war in Ukraine in the exam in history: Russian teenagers will have to learn the topic of "special operation" in order to graduate from school. This was stated in the department itself.
However, when exactly this will happen is still unclear. First of all, the Russian authorities should “make appropriate changes” to the textbooks:
“After making changes to the Federal State Educational Standard (Federal State Educational Standard), it is required to make appropriate changes to work programs and history textbooks. In the USE, the relevant questions will appear after the implementation of these tasks, since the USE checks the content of the subject studied by schoolchildren in accordance with the educational programs.
Specific dates will be set by the Ministry of Education.
Earlier, the department published an order , according to which, now, in history lessons, students in grades 10-11 will have to study the topic of the war in Ukraine. The document says that after studying the basic history course, students should “understand the significance of Russia in world and socio-economic processes” and understand the reasons for “the collapse of the USSR, the revival of the Russian Federation as a world power, the reunification of Crimea with Russia, a special military operation in Ukraine and other major events of the 20th – early 21st century.
On September 12, Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov said that the lessons “Conversations about the important”, dedicated to the war, will be held in schools throughout the school year.
