“Important stories”: Teachers in the Moscow region are asked to give part of the salary for “panties and socks” for Russian soldiers

Teachers from the Moscow region were asked to donate part of their salaries for Russian soldiers fighting in Ukraine. This is written by "Important Stories", referring to the words of a teacher from one of the schools in Podolsk.

Teachers must transfer money to a certain fund "Cultural development of youth in Podolsk." What this fund does and where the money will go is still unknown.

“In the first days of September, at a meeting of teachers, we were told that we must voluntarily transfer 3,000 rubles each to support the Russian army, saying that they don’t have panties and socks there [at the front]. It was evident that the headmistress, when she spoke about this, felt uncomfortable. She said that she was forced to say this and understands our concern, but we also need to understand the situation: “These are our citizens, our soldiers,” the teacher said.

He added that only half of the team agreed to voluntarily donate money. What amount they are willing to transfer, the teacher does not know.

According to Important Stories, the forms that teachers must fill out indicate that the donation will be transferred to the Cultural Development of Podolsk Youth Foundation, established in 2012. A call to send money to the fund also appeared on the website of the city administration.

“I invite everyone to take part, thereby bringing our common victory closer,” the head of Podolsk, Dmitry Zharikov, addressed the residents.

Judging by the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the publication notes, initially the founders of the fund were three people: Dmitry Nikolaev, Viktor Nikolaev and Alexei Nikulin. Nikulin is a member of the city council of Podolsk from United Russia, as well as the director of the private lyceum Parus. Dmitry Nikolaev is listed as the president of the fund in the register of legal entities. He also created a fund group on the VKontakte social network, where, besides him, there are three more subscribers (two of them are profiles deleted by the VK administration) and there is not a single publication or any information about the fund.

Judging by open sources, “Important stories” note, Dmitry Nikolaev organizes events and concerts. Nikolaev has an individual entrepreneur whose main occupation is “activities in the field of performing arts”.

In May, President Vladimir Putin instructed the regions to support soldiers and their families fighting in Ukraine.

“I want to express the hope that regardless of the measures taken by the state, and at the regional level, you will surround the families of our children with attention, care and will do everything to support them,” Putin said.

The government of the Russian Federation pays additional funds to the families of Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine. So, families will receive an additional 5 million rubles. In addition, all family members of the deceased will receive monthly compensation.
