Russia’s problems with supplies, the advancement of Ukraine to Lysychansk and the liberation of 300 settlements. The main thing about the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their counter-offensive, which in recent days has allowed them to regain control of 6,000 km² of territory. In just a week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 300 settlements in the Kharkiv region, said Anna Malyar, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

“This operation to liberate the Kharkiv region lasted several days and it was planned for several days. Since September 6, 3,800 square kilometers have been liberated to date, more than 300 settlements and about 150,000 of our people have become free from occupation.”

An animated map has been published on the Ukraine War Map Twitter account showing how the Ukrainian offensive developed in the Kharkiv region. In a few days, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to regain control over Balakleya, and more than ten more occupied settlements.

In the area of Kupyansk, the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the first time shot down an Iranian loitering ammunition Shahed-136, which was probably used by Russian military personnel. The Russian Armed Forces tried to disguise the kamikaze drone by writing on it the name in Russian “M214 Geranium-2”. However, the shape of the wreckage and details indicate that it is an Iranian Shahed-136. Pro-Russian Telegram channels suggest that the UAV was not shot down, as evidenced by characteristic damage. Drone-kamikaze could hit the target, after which the debris scattered.

Now Ukrainian troops are advancing through Izium to Lysichansk. The LPR said that Ukrainian troops "fired from HIMARS Lisichansk". Two people were killed, another was injured, the RIA Novosti propaganda agency reports. The Ukrainian authorities did not comment on the information.

At this time, in Kherson, Russia moved away from the line of defense in order to be within reach of its own artillery from the left bank of the Dnieper, writes the NORS analytical center. It was necessary to retreat, among other things, due to problems with the supply of artillery ammunition across the river.

In addition, anonymous OSINT investigators post their version of the map on September 13 on Twitter. According to their data, Ukraine continues to advance, using a breakthrough in the Izyum region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also reached the R-66 highway south of Svatovo (the road passes through the territory of the Luhansk region) and liberated an important section in the city of Kremennaya. Investigators make an assumption that, given the capture of part of the roads and railways, Severodonetsk and Lisichansk can be taken by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the next 48 hours.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that since the beginning of September, Ukraine has returned 6,000 km² of territory under its control during the counteroffensive. The same information was provided by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military has successfully repulsed Russian attacks in the areas of the settlements of Zaitsevo, Bakhmut, Bakhmutskoye, Krasnogorovka, Vodyanoye, Bezymyannoye and Novohrygorovka.

September 10 became one of the most important days for the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From the very morning, messages began to appear on social networks that Ukraine had returned under its control not only towns and villages, but also large cities: Izyum, Kupyansk and Liman.
