Communist Daria Bagina took a passing place in the second multi-mandate constituency of the Akademichesky district following the results of Internet voting, but called her victory illegitimate. According to her, the Moscow mayor's office "meanly threw in" votes for her using remote electronic voting.
“A lot of congratulations come to me this morning, but there is nothing to congratulate me on. I do not recognize the results of such a vote, and I cannot consider my mandate as legitimate. I still have a lot to figure out in order to understand why the authorities needed this and what I personally should do with it: I don’t want to become a bargaining chip, ”Bagina wrote.
Now Bagina is considering the option of resignation.
Previously, Daria Bagina worked as an assistant to State Duma deputy Denis Parfyonov, as well as an assistant and adviser to Moscow City Duma deputy Lyubov Nikitina.
On the eve it became known that the "Information Security Regulator" forbade publishing the source code of the remote electronic voting system until the end of the vote count. Programmer Petr Zhizhin, who studied the voting code last year, argues that without this data, it will be impossible to draw independent results. Read more about it here .
