In Crimea, the court brought to justice the participants of the wedding, which played the song in the Ukrainian language "Chervona Kalina", RBC reports . The owner of the banquet hall in the dining room "Arpat", where the wedding took place, received 15 days of arrest, a DJ and a dancer – 10 days each, the mother of the groom – 5 days, the mother of the bride – a fine of 40 thousand rubles, the wife of the owner of the restaurant – 50 thousand rubles. The canteen itself was closed for the duration of the inspection.
The security forces also forced the owner of the establishment and the DJ to apologize on camera, giving them a pre-prepared text to read.
“On September 10, 2022, during the wedding in the Arpat banquet hall, located in the city of Bakhchisarai, there was public demonstration of a Ukrainian song, which, according to the conclusion of a specialist, is a paraphernalia (combat song) used by an organization of Ukrainian nationalists (OUN), whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned on the territory of the Russian Federation. In addition, at the same event, public actions were carried out aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, namely, a musical composition in Ukrainian “Chervona Kalina” was played, the text of which contains the words: “Free Ukrainian brothers from Moscow shackles”, which is used by the organization of Ukrainian nationalists (OUN), whose activities are prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation, thereby containing information about the discrediting of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, ”the court said.
Earlier, the “head” of the annexed Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, promised to take away business and open criminal cases against those who sing Ukrainian songs in Crimea.
