An elderly builder from Lipetsk spoke about searches due to posts on Yandex.Zen. He wrote “Putin” with a small letter

In Lipetsk, against 60-year-old builder Alexander Grigoriev, a criminal case was opened on "fake" about the Russian army. The reason was the anti-war posts on Yandex.Dzena, in which, in particular, he wrote Putin's name with a small letter. This Lipchan told "OVD Info".

Grigoriev works on a shift in Stary Oskol. He was detained on August 29, when he was at work, in the canteen. After that, he was taken to Lipetsk, and the apartment was searched, a computer and a mobile phone were confiscated. Then the elderly man was sent for interrogation to the Investigative Committee, where he was asked about publications on Yandex.Zen and his attitude to the war, the letters Z and V, and why he writes “Putin” with a small letter.

The builder then confirmed that he was the author of the publications, and stated that he had the right to a personal opinion. After interrogation, he was released on a promise to appear.

“I am for world peace, I was taught this way back in Soviet school. My father is a participant in the war, he also advocated that we never see a war. And then Russia attacked Ukraine – am I supposed to support this?”

Mediazona found the builder's blog. Only 39 people signed up for it.

Information about the case appeared on September 7, but the details were unknown. The maximum punishment under the criminal article on “fakes” (part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code) is 15 years in prison.
