The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continue the counter-offensive, thanks to which they managed to recapture almost the entire Kharkiv region, occupied by Russia. The Insider has collected the main thing about the situation at the front up to this hour.
Russia continues shelling in the Dnepropetrovsk region – another strike was carried out on Krivoy Rog, the hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Today, two missile attacks on hydraulic structures were recorded, said the head of the city administration Alexander Vilkul. The day before, Russia fired 8 cruise missiles at Krivoy Rog.
The head of the Kirovograd region, Andrey Raikovich , announced a strike on an "infrastructure facility" in the Petrovsky district. Probably, the Russian Armed Forces were aiming at a dam near the village of Iskrovka of the Iskra reservoir. The dam is located on the Ingulets River, part of the front in the Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog direction passes there.
Raisins were released from the Russian troops a few days ago, but the Ukrainian authorities continue to count the losses and find out the number of dead civilians. The Current Time publication published photographs of mass graves after the de-occupation of the city. The pictures were taken on September 15th.
Oleg Kotenko, Commissioner for Missing Persons in Ukraine, said on the air of the channel that the graves were found in the forest belt.
“When they (the Russian military) captured Izyum, they shelled the city very hard, and people died right on the streets. Funeral services did not know what kind of people they were, but they took them and buried them in this cemetery.”
Semyon Pegov, a pro-Russian military correspondent and founder of the WarGonzo Telegram channel, claims that the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to “attack Liman from Shchurovo.” He wrote on Telegram that Ukraine continues to try to break into Liman from the forest southwest of the city.
Meanwhile, propaganda Telegram channels report on the work of air defense in the Crimea.
In the city of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russian military used Iranian drones, according to the National Police of Ukraine.
“The enemy from the Zaporizhia region covered the city of Nikopol with fire from the MLRS and cannon artillery and directed kamikaze drones at it.”
According to preliminary data, 10 private houses, outbuildings and a gas pipeline were damaged. The military could again use the Iranian "Shahed 136", according to the National Police.
On September 13, the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that for the first time in Ukraine, the Iranian Shahed-136 loitering ammunition seen in the Kupyansk region was shot down. According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia tried to disguise the kamikaze drone by writing on it the name in Russian “M214 Geran-2”.
Russian propagandists claim that in Kiselevsk, Kherson region, the Russian flag is still flying over the administration building. An excerpt from a report with a correspondent appeared on the network, who claims that the information of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the liberation of the settlement is not true. However, on September 13, the head of the Kherson Regional Council Alexander Samoylenko reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had liberated the village, and only Chernobaevka separated them from the regional center. He added that the village of Chernobaevka would become "a place of death for the occupiers."
In just a few days, the Ukrainian military was able to recapture almost the entire Kharkiv region, which Russian troops had occupied since the beginning of the war. September 10 became one of the most important days for the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
