“I don’t trade conscience.” Maxim Galkin commented on his inclusion in the list of “foreign agents”

Comedian Maxim Galkin commented on his inclusion in the list of "foreign agents". He stated that he is not engaged in political activities, but addresses his subscriber and viewers as a citizen and as a person, "absolutely sincerely."

“I am not involved in political activities. I am engaged in a humorous genre, political satire. I've been doing this for 28 years now. If I address my subscribers or viewers outside of the genre, I do it with absolute sincerity and being honest with myself. Justice Department, sincerity and honesty don't pay decent people, which I hope I'm one of. I do not sell my opinion and my thoughts and do not buy someone else's. I am not engaged in trade in conscience, ”Galkin said.

“As for Ukraine, once, well, about ten years ago, when I gave concerts there, I received money. But for many years I have not received a penny from Ukraine, ”the artist added.

The Russian Ministry of Justice claims that Galkin receives money from Ukraine.
