SOTA: PMC Wagner began forced recruitment of Russian prisoners to be sent to war against Ukraine

PMC Wagner began a forced recruitment of prisoners from Russian colonies to be sent to the war against Ukraine. SOTA writes about this with reference to one of the prisoners of IK-4 in Mari El.

At the disposal of the publication was his correspondence with a former partner. It began on September 14, when the prisoner said that they were being sent to war in Ukraine. The next day, he wrote that recruiters from the Wagner PMC had arrived in the colony, who were forcibly recruiting prisoners. According to him, the militants are interested in those who are imprisoned for murder, grievous bodily harm, robbery and robbery.

The recruited prisoners, as before, are promised to be paid 100,000 rubles a month, as well as a full amnesty. To do this, they must spend at least six months in the war.

The very possibility of taking prisoners out of the colonies, according to SOTA, is documented as a transfer for investigative actions through the Investigative Committee and the FSB. Employees of both departments are now working in the territories of Ukraine occupied by Russia.

On September 14, the Telegram channel of the Cheka-OGPU published a video in which “Putin’s chef” and head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin recruits prisoners of IK-6 Yoshkar-Ola to participate in the war against Ukraine. In addition to the conditions, he also talks about the main "sins" in the war. The most important, according to him, is desertion – followed by execution.
