Russian singer Alla Pugacheva asked the Russian Ministry of Justice to recognize her as a "foreign agent" after her husband, comedian Maxim Galkin. She posted the corresponding post on her Instagram.
“I ask you to enroll me in the ranks of foreign agents of my beloved country, because I am in solidarity with my husband, an honest, decent and sincere person, a true and incorruptible patriot of Russia, who wishes the Motherland prosperity, peaceful life, freedom of speech and an end to the death of our guys for illusory goals that make our country as an outcast and making life difficult for our citizens,” writes Pugacheva.
The Ministry of Justice recognized Galkin as a "foreign agent" on September 16. In the list of sources of funding for the humorist, the department indicates Ukraine. The reason for inclusion in the register is "carrying out political activities."
“The Department of Justice, sincerity and honesty are not paid for decent people, which I hope I am. I do not sell my opinion and my thoughts and do not buy someone else's. I am not engaged in trade in conscience, ”Galkin commented on the inclusion in the register.
