Zelensky admitted that Crimea could be returned through diplomacy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted that Ukraine would be able to return the Crimea seized by Russia through diplomacy. He stated this in an interview with Reuters.

“That can happen. Certainly, people in Ukraine are more supportive of the diplomatic way of resolving this issue. But what circle of people will discuss this issue and when it will be, I can’t say right now,” the President of Ukraine said.

He stressed that Ukraine "will be able to live in peace only if it regains all its land": "There is no other chance, there is simply no way out, it is necessary to de-occupy the territory."

In June, Kyiv announced that it was going to return the Crimea by military means. The Insider learned from experts whether the Ukrainian army can really break into Crimea and take it back, from what positions the troops can strike, and when this can happen.
