“United Russia” proposed to give academic leave to students for participation in the war in Ukraine

United Russia sent a proposal to the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Education to give academic leave to Russian students who go to war in Ukraine. This was stated by State Duma deputy, chairman of the committee on youth policy Artem Metelev, according to the party's website.

According to him, the “special operation” is attended by students who are to undergo the state final certification. At the same time, since the spring, the provision of academic leave to military personnel has been suspended.

“We need to provide them with a guarantee of education and give them the opportunity to take exams when they return home. Now the fighters are defending the interests of the Motherland, but soon they will return, and many will choose peaceful work and study.”

Metelev added that the committee is ready to assist the departments in providing guarantees for the continuation of education: “This applies to both military personnel undergoing training during the NWO period and citizens who wish to become volunteers.”

On September 15, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov , called for "self-mobilization" in every region. He believes that each chapter "is able to prepare, train and staff at least one thousand volunteers." After that, "Kavkaz.Realii", citing a source, reported that the Kadyrov administration had prepared a draft resolution on the mobilization from October 1 to the end of the year "the main and reserve composition of the draft commission." The document, according to a source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will concern local residents born in 1995-2004.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly argued that the Russian Federation is fighting in Ukraine not with the entire army, but only with the contract part. The last such statement was made at a press conference in Samarkand. However, even Russian officials and the Ministry of Defense have already admitted that those who were doing compulsory military service were also sent to the front. The Insider published appeals from which it is clear that the conscripts were sent to war by deception or forcibly.
