Alla Pugacheva is being checked for discrediting the army because of a post in which she opposed the war in Ukraine and turned to the Ministry of Justice with a request to include her in the register of foreign agents after her husband Maxim Galkin. According to the Telegram channel, a certain resident of the Moscow region read the post of Pugacheva and decided to contact the police, because, in her opinion, she insulted the Russian army. She asks to check the singer for illegal activities receiving “foreign support”, as well as for public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Russian Armed Forces. The case is being handled by the local police.
Pugacheva's anti-war post received more than 640,000 likes in less than a day after it was posted. The Kremlin refused to comment on Pugacheva's words, but the singer's act was supported in the Office of the President of Ukraine.
On September 16, the Ministry of Justice recognized Maksim Galkin as a "foreign agent", allegedly receiving funding from Ukraine.
“The Department of Justice, sincerity and honesty are not paid for decent people, which I hope I am. I do not sell my opinion and my thoughts and do not buy someone else's. I am not engaged in trade in conscience, ”Galkin said after entering his name in the register.
