In the colonies of the Rostov region, prisoners are forced to vote for the annexation of the four occupied regions to Russia. Two sources in the correctional system told the We Can Explain Telegram channel about the holding of “referendums” in the zone.

According to these data, in one of the colonies those who have a Ukrainian passport vote, in the other – all prisoners.

Friends of one of the prisoners of the colony IK-10 Rostov-on-Don forwarded “We can explain” a voice message transmitted by one of those serving a sentence: “We now have boys who are from Ukraine, they pulled them to vote for joining Russia. So you know what it smells like." One of the prisoners of colony No. 14 in Novocherkassk also spoke about a similar distribution order for the MO.

The Russian authorities from September 23 to 27 are planning to hold "referendums" on joining the occupied territories of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to the Russian Federation.

The so-called people's councils of the LPR and DPR were the first to confirm the dates of the "referenda". Following them, the "vote" was announced by the "head of the military-civilian administration" (VGA) of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo and the "head" of the Zaporozhye region Evgeny Balitsky.
