The former head of Navalny's headquarters in Ufa, Lilia Chanysheva, has been charged in the final version. This was announced by the director of the Anti-Corruption Foundation Ivan Zhdanov.
Chanysheva is charged with the activities of an extremist community using her official position (part 3 of article 282.1 of the Criminal Code, up to 14 years in prison), calls for extremism (part 1 of article 280 of the Criminal Code, up to 4 years in prison) and the creation of an organization that violates the rights of citizens ( part 3 of article 239 of the Criminal Code, up to 2 years in prison).
Deadlines may add up. Thus, Chanysheva faces up to 18 years in prison. As Zhdanov writes, the trial may take place in Bashkiria. According to him, local FSB officers threatened that Chanysheva would definitely receive 15 years in prison.
Zhdanov also points out that the head of Bashkortostan, United Russia Radiy Khabirov, "hates Lilia." In 2018, Navalny’s Ufa headquarters demanded his resignation due to the fact that he gave the unique shikhan Kushtau to the development of the Bashkir Soda Company without the consent of the inhabitants of the republic.
