The Vesna movement called on the people of Russia to protest against the mobilization.
At 19:00 on September 21, all those who do not agree with the decision to mobilize are invited to gather in the center of their cities.
“Thousands of Russian men – our fathers, brothers and husbands – will be thrown into the meat grinder of war. What will they die for? What will mothers and children shed tears for?” the movement said in a statement.
Earlier, Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia starting Wednesday.
