More than 32,000 people can be mobilized in Moscow – “We can explain”

More than 32,000 people can be mobilized in Moscow. As the project "We Can Explain" calculated , the mobilization will thus affect about 1% of the working-age male population of the city.

Sources of "MO" in the military registration and enlistment offices of Moscow handed over part of the list of the mobilization plan of the capital in several districts.

On average, 260 people are called up from each district, while the number of those called up does not correlate in any way with the population in this territory. Based on the fact that there are 125 districts in Moscow, 32.5 thousand people should be mobilized. The same figure was given to the project “We can explain” by a source close to the mayor’s office.

As noted by MO, this percentage correlates with orders for other regions. The head of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, said that the region would have to submit about 2,500-3,000 people. This is 0.9% of all men of military age. In Kalmykia, about 1,000 people (1.41%) are going to be sent to the front. And in Yakutia – 4750 people (1.66% of men).
