Russian pro-government bloggers on social networks began to publish posts of the same type with the hashtag #bezpaniki. They explain to subscribers that 1% of the “common resource” affected by “partial” mobilization (the words of Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu) is not at all a lot. Photos are attached to posts: bloggers show 1% of a pack of marmalade or 1% of a serving of french fries. And at the same time, they claim that only "experienced fighters" will supposedly be mobilized – for the "control" of the territories.
Attention to a strange flash mob was drawn in Mediazone. The hashtag about 1% “went”, apparently, from Primorye and Khabarovsk. Posts are published on VKontakte and Instagram.
In one of the posts, the girl offers to see how small 1% of a large women's cosmetic bag is. Therefore, the post says, there is no need to panic, because “our panic is the goal of the enemies,” and the Russian military will only be engaged in “control of the already liberated territories.”
Another blogger also proves that 1% of those mobilized is not at all a lot across the country. As an argument, she suggests looking at 1% of a pack of marmalade.
The third suggests looking at 1% of a bag of fries – it is, the post says, "negligible" . In the comments, they answer her: “Here, send your man, father, brother to this 1% and sit without panic, eat french fries.”
The same bloggers post videos on Instagram where they say that they are “for Russia, for the referendum.”
The #bezpaniki hashtag is also used in the public pages of Khabarovsk and Primorye . They show photos of the city's embankments and show what "1% of the embankment" is.
On the day of the announcement of mobilization in Russia, Sergei Shoigu announced that supposedly 300,000 Russians in reserve would be called up – 1% of the total mobilization resource. At the same time, Meduza's sources reported that they plan to conscript 1.2 million people into the army. The Telegram channel “We Can Explain” wrote that the plan for mobilization in Moscow would be more than 32,000 people.
