“Your freedom is not included in the plans of the leadership of the Russian Federation.” Ex-Deputy of the Parliament of St. Petersburg Maxim Reznik left Russia

Former deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Maxim Reznk said that he left Russia on the recommendation of a law enforcement officer. “Your freedom is not included in the plans of the leadership of the Russian Federation,” Reznik conveys his words.

According to the ex-deputy, he left the country on September 16. Departure Reznik calls vacation and says that he intends to return soon. “I hope to take my place in the ranks soon. And in battle. I was and still am a member of the Order of the Phoenix. And I am sure: the agony is monstrous. But it won't be long. Like my vacation, ”the former parliamentarian wrote on his Telegram channel.

Reznik is known in St. Petersburg for his oppositional position, which he often expressed from the rostrum of the local legislative assembly, often without having time to finish – each time the speaker of parliament, United Russia Vyacheslav Makarov, turned off his microphone.

In 2021, Reznik was charged with possession of drugs, according to investigators, he acquired 18 grams of marijuana. Reznik himself said that the case was fabricated because of his intentions to run for a new term in the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly.
