A resident of St. Petersburg, Yegor Skorokhodov (according to his passport – Igor Maltsev) received 3 years and 8 months in prison for burning an effigy of Maslenitsa dressed in camouflage. Paper reported . He was found guilty of hooliganism motivated by political hatred (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code). Skorokhodov held the action in March, after Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
