Magadan military commissar dismissed due to “mistakes” during mobilization

In the Magadan region, the military commissar was dismissed due to "mistakes" in the mobilization, said the governor of the region, Sergei Nosov.

“I turned to the commander of the Eastern District. And a professional officer was sent here, who organized the work of the military registration and enlistment office, which was disorganized in the early days. And simply due to his professional and strong-willed qualities, he put everything in its place. There are clear rails for everything, numbers, names, surnames, ”Nosov said about the replacement.

Earlier, the media reported that 69 people were mobilized by mistake in Magadan, many of whom were over 45 years old. Despite this, they were sent to the military unit on buses, but later they promised to send them back.

Mobilization was announced on 21 September. After that, summonses began to come to people without much discrimination. In St. Petersburg, the police came to a local resident and handed a summons to the draft board addressed to her uncle, who died nine years ago. In Buryatia, they tried to call for war a man who died two years ago. In Krasnodar, a summons was brought to a 40-year-old wheelchair user.
