Pop singer Boris Moiseev died in Russia, his art director Sergei Gorokh told RIA Novosti. Moiseev was 68 years old.
The art director did not specify the cause of death.
The media wrote that the musician survived two strokes: in 2010 and 2015. As a result of the first, the singer's left hand and upper lip stopped moving, speech was impaired. In 2020, his condition worsened: he was practically paralyzed and bedridden. The singer has not appeared in public for several years.
Moiseev was born in 1954 in the Byelorussian SSR, he was an Honored Artist of Russia, winner of the Ovation and Golden Gramophone awards. He gained wide popularity, speaking with the singer Alla Pugacheva. One of his most popular songs is "Blue Moon", which he performed with Nikolai Trubach.
