Krasnodar IT-specialist Vasily Malinochka was mobilized as a shooter, despite the strabismus and the fact that he formally falls under the reservation of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, since his profession is a fault-tolerance engineer for MegaFon’s IT infrastructure platforms. According to him, Malinochka received a summons to the training camp even before the announcement of mobilization, but he got there the day after Putin's decree and was eventually enlisted in the army.
Despite a telegram from the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Maksut Shadayev, demanding that his colleague be returned to work, the military does not let him go:
“Vasily, along with other mobilized people, was transferred to the Kadamovsky training ground in the Rostov region. And here the traditional bureaucratic ping-pong began. The military commissar complains that Malinochka has already been assigned to a military unit in the village of Molkino near Krasnodar and all issues need to be resolved there. In part, they refer to the fact that the mobilized have already been transferred to training near Novocherkassk and it is necessary to apply there. The commander of the unit in the Rostov region told Vasily that these issues must be resolved through the draft board that called him, ”said the lawyer.
On September 26, it was reported that a student with a whole range of diseases was mobilized in the Chelyabinsk region: pancreatitis, rhinitis, prostatitis, varicose veins and hemorrhoids. Earlier, the Dozhd TV channel also spoke about the case when a young man with strabismus and a recent vision correction operation turned out to be a senior shooter. Summons are given even to the dead: in St. Petersburg, the police came to a local resident and handed a summons to the draft board addressed to her uncle, who died nine years ago.
