“Mediazona”: the police handed the summons to a resident of Moscow in the MFC. Forbes writes that now they will serve subpoenas to men from 20 to 34 years old.

The police handed the summons to a 39-year-old resident of Moscow at the MFC in Lefortovo when he came to pick up his passport by appointment. He spoke about this "Mediazone" without revealing his name.

A resident of the capital claims that he did not serve and did not graduate from the military department. According to him, he is partially fit for military service.

Law enforcement officers entered the passport issuance room and told employees that they were “interested in everything” from 1999 to 1977-78, the source said. According to him, the police told the workers to send clients to them immediately after the issuance of passports. Where exactly is not specified.

After “instructing” the employees of the MFC, one of the law enforcement officers told the man that he had been issued a summons. In response to the visitor's explanation that he did not meet the recruitment criteria, the police officers advised him to go to the military enlistment office and provide the necessary "papers". After that, the employee of the center filled out the agenda, but it does not contain the exact date when you need to appear at the military registration and enlistment office, the man claims. He photographed the summons, but did not take it and left, no one detained him.

After the news was released, the press service of the Moscow MFCs denied the information that employees of public service centers issue summonses. The statement was cited by RBC. However, the report does not say anything about whether police officers, and not the workers themselves, can issue subpoenas at the MFC centers.

“After the publication that the MFC has given an order for the employees of the public service centers to issue subpoenas to visitors at the offices of My Documents, the press service of the public service centers comes up with an official refutation. The information provided is false."

Earlier, Forbes reported , citing an employee of one of the MFCs in Moscow, that employees received an unspoken order to issue subpoenas to all men from 20 to 34 years old who come for a passport. The Forbes correspondent, having come for the document, also almost received a summons. The journalist was not handed the summons due to a "technical failure", but he saw how a man who came to receive a passport received it.

“All men from 20 to 34 years old, along with a passport, should be issued summonses in order to notify of partial mobilization. You will specify all the details in the military registration and enlistment office, ”the worker told the correspondent.

On September 26, Mediazona reported that employees of the MFC in the Moscow region were instructed to issue summonses to male visitors. A screenshot of a message in a working chat was provided by the daughter of one of the employees of the MFC.

Now the summons can be served not only on the street, in the military registration and enlistment office or at the address of registration. SOTA reported that in Blagoveshchensk a man was mobilized to participate in the war against Ukraine, lured to the labor exchange. He was invited to the stock exchange to "re-register" unemployment payments. However, instead of documents, the Russian received a summons to the military registration and enlistment office.
