Mobilization point deployed in Astrakhan region on the border with Kazakhstan

A mobilization point has been set up in the Astrakhan region on the border with Kazakhstan. RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to the authorities of the region.

The checkpoint will be opened at the Karaozek checkpoint, where there is now a many-kilometer traffic jam. According to TASS, this is due to "a large number of men of military age waiting to leave in a multi-kilometer traffic jam."

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that the mobilization point of the military registration and enlistment office will also be deployed at the Upper Lars checkpoint on the border with Georgia. On September 28, a selection point for military service under a contract was placed on the border between Russia and Finland at the Torfyanovka checkpoint in the Vyborgsky district.
