RT: Marina Ovsyannikova, who spoke on Channel One against the war, escaped from house arrest with a child

Marina Ovsyannikova, a former employee of Channel One, who became widely known after her live anti-war action, escaped from house arrest. This was announced to the state television channel RT by her ex-husband Igor Ovsyannikov. According to the latter, Ovsyannikova took her 11-year-old daughter with her, the custody of which he is trying to sue.

Earlier, Ovsyannikov imposed a ban on the export of the girl abroad. The former spouses also have a 17-year-old son who has decided to live with his father.

Marina Ovsyannikova was under house arrest on charges of spreading "fake news" about the Russian army based on political or ideological hatred. The reason for the case was the picket that Ovsyannikova held near Red Square. In her hands she held a poster with the inscription “Putin is a killer” and a mention of Ukrainian children killed by Russia.
