He quickly went around the "patriotic" public with insults and threats against Valeeva, and State Duma deputy from Crimea Leonid Ivlev demanded that the Ministry of Internal Affairs "deal with the incident." Rise drew attention to this.

“Many beauty pageants disgust me. I know the song "Chervona Kalina", you should be punished for it. And there are precedents in Crimea. Crimean civil society and law enforcement agencies react very correctly to cases of Ukrainian fascism. I hope this will continue, ”Ivlev said.

Valeeva herself stated that she did not know that the song was banned. “Do you think I would suffer this nonsense? I didn’t know, I thought it was an ordinary Ukrainian song, without any meanings and sub-senses, agitation. I live in Simferopol, I have two children, and would I take such risks if I knew? The video hung for two minutes, I saw it and asked to be deleted, ”Valeeva commented.

In September, a restaurant was closed in the Crimean Bakhchisarai, where they played the Ukrainian song "Chervona Kalina" at a wedding. A video from the wedding in Arpat appeared on social networks on September 11.
