Families of those mobilized on Sakhalin will be given 5 kg of fish each

The families of the mobilized Russians on Sakhalin will be given 5 kg of fish as part of the action. Mikhail Shuvalov, head of the regional executive committee of United Russia, told about this at a briefing, IA Sakh.com reports .

According to him, the government of the Sakhalin region agreed with the fishermen, in total, about nine tons of fresh-frozen fish were allocated to the region: flounder, pollock and chum salmon. If each family is given 5-6 kg, as Shuvalov announced, it turns out that there are about 1,800 mobilized Russians in the region.

“In the near future, our volunteers, about 180 people throughout the Sakhalin Region, will bring about 5-6 kilograms per person to the families of mobilized residents … And in the near future, fish will appear in the families.”

The agency emphasizes that the action is carried out within the framework of the "Affordable Fish" project, which has been implemented in the region for several years.

At the end of September, the head of Tuva, Vladislav Khovalyg , instructed to give families a live sheep and coal for each mobilized Tuvan. The press service of the republic reported that 91 rams had already been issued. Families were also promised 50 kilograms of flour and two sacks of potatoes for sending a family member to the war in Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "partial" mobilization in the country on September 21, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu promised to mobilize "about 300,000 reservists." However, summonses are handed out to almost everyone in a row, and messages from the media and relatives of the mobilized are regularly received from the regions. For example, in St. Petersburg, the police gave a local resident a summons to the draft board addressed to her uncle, who died nine years ago. A similar incident occurred in Buryatia: the sister of a Russian who died two years ago, Natalya Semenova, said that they wanted to hand her brother a summons.
