There is no sound or comments on the video, it is accompanied by subtitles made by the service, according to which he admits his guilt.

The Japanese Foreign Ministry said that the detention of the Japanese consul in Moscow is a violation of the Vienna Convention. The department summoned the Russian ambassador and expressed a strong protest to him, and also demanded an official apology.
