The name of the 82-meter superyacht, in respect of which the United States imposed sanctions due to links with Russian President Vladimir Putin, was changed. According to Forbes, the yacht is now in motion. Graceful, which is worth $119 million, has been spotted off the coast of Estonia under a new name – “Kosatka” (Kosatka). Prior to this, the yacht was in Kaliningrad, where it arrived from Germany seven months ago. When the yacht left Kaliningrad is unknown.
The yacht was photographed on September 25 by TheYachtPhoto.com photographer Karl Groll. Peter Seifert, managing director of TheYachtPhoto.com, compared photos of Graceful and Kosatka and confirmed the match.
The yacht sailed north along the Baltic Sea west of the Estonian island of Saaremaa, possibly towards St. Petersburg. The pictures show that she is escorted by a vessel of the Russian Coast Guard.
The United States in June imposed sanctions on four yachts believed to be linked to Russian President Putin. These are Graceful, which became Kosatka, as well as Olympia, worth $22 million, Shellest ($18 million) and Nega ($17 million). Putin is also associated with the $507 million Scheherazade superyacht.
In April, the Australian edition of The Market Herald published photos of the Graceful's interior, which became Kosatka. The pictures show an aqua disco – a dance floor that can lower and turn into a pool.
The 82m Graceful has an owner suite on two floors, two VIP cabins and three comfortable guest cabins. It also has a helipad. The bathrooms are finished in white marble.
