Russian printing houses may stop due to a shortage of Western equipment – Vedomosti

Russian printing houses are faced with a shortage of equipment and spare parts. This happened due to sanctions and the refusal of foreign manufacturers (from Japan, North America, Europe) to make deliveries. Now the work of printing houses may stop, Vedomosti writes , citing top managers of enterprises.

According to experts, equipment from unfriendly countries in printing houses is about 90%.

The largest importers of this equipment in Russia were Germany (Heidelberg, Manroland, KBA), Switzerland (Muller Martini), Italy (Smyth, Zechini), Canada, Japan and others.

In August, Kommersant wrote that the metallurgical industry in Russia is also critically dependent on Western parts and equipment, and import substitution of some positions will be impossible for about another ten years.
