The municipal deputy of the Krasnoselsky district of Moscow, Ilya Yashin, was officially charged in a criminal case on "fakes" about the Russian army. He wrote about this on his social networks.
“Yashin I.V. dislikes the political system in Russia, denies the obvious need to ensure the security of the Russian Federation from external threats and suppress violations of the fundamental rights of citizens of the DPR and LPR, understands that he (Yashin I.V.) is a public figure, in connection with which his activities are of increased interest to an indefinite circle of people, and the personal statements made are perceived by them as reliable, ”the indictment says.
Yashin's lawyer, Vadim Prokhorov, said the accusation was "stupid, but floridly worded."
Yashin's defense summoned a representative of the Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, to court as a witness. According to the politician himself, they want to interrogate the representative of the military department "about where he gets the information and why it must be taken on faith."
The case is expected to go to trial by the end of October. Now Yashin is in jail. He is charged with paragraph "d" part 2 of Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code (dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation) for the fact that on April 7, live on his YouTube channel, he talked about the tragedy in Bucha.
