Employees of IT companies will be deprived of a deferment from partial mobilization if their organization is excluded from the register of accredited ones, Maksut Shadayev, head of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, said .
Companies will be tested for compliance with the rules in the first half of 2023.
“The deferment is granted to employees of accredited companies. If an employee works for a company that is no longer accredited, the deferment cannot be maintained,” Shadayev said.
Earlier, the Ministry of Digital Transformation excluded more than 400 organizations from the register of IT companies, explaining this by the fact that they actually have nothing to do with IT.
Shortly after the announcement of the mobilization, the department published a list of 195 specialties in the field of IT and communications, which require a reservation.
