The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that Vladimir Putin awarded him the rank of colonel general.

“The President of Russia awarded me the rank of Colonel General. The decree was issued under number 709. Vladimir Vladimirovich personally informed me about this and congratulated me,” Kadyrov said.

In 2009, Kadyrov received the rank of major general of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in March 2022 he was awarded the rank of lieutenant general. In August, Kadyrov received another title – "Hero of the LPR".

In early October, Kadyrov called mediocrity and demanded to be demoted to an ordinary Colonel General Lapin because of the loss of Liman, and also promised to send his underage children to war. At the same time, Kadyrov claims that Chechnya does not participate in the mobilization, as it has overfulfilled the norm for conscription.
