Kursk governor “with bewilderment” discovered devastation in the military units of the Ministry of Defense: “Somewhere it’s just terrible”

The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, said that he visited the military units of the Ministry of Defense in the region, where the mobilized men are now, and “with bewilderment” found in them “ruined canteens, broken and rusty showers” and a parade ground, “like after the bombing.”

“Somewhere it’s normal, but somewhere it’s just terrible. I am perplexed how the current training unit of the Ministry of Defense can be in such a state, ”Starovoit criticized the state of the units.

The mobilized, according to him, do not have enough uniforms, there are not even beds, and those that are are “killed”. “It’s good that at least there is equipment and weapons in order to remember skills and improve professionalism,” the governor argues.

At the same time, the governor has questions about the tactics of conducting the so-called "special operation."

“Do I have any questions about the tactics and course of conducting the NWO? Do I have questions about the protection by our military of our ancestral territories and territories that have again become part of our Motherland? There is. Of course. But despite the presence of two higher educations, including in Voenmekh, and the presence of an academic degree, I will not be like sofa commanders with my public assessment, ”he wrote.

Nevertheless, according to him, it is necessary to deal with all the devastation in parts only "after the victory", then the responsible people "will be asked in full." Starovoit did not specify exactly how “victory” would be ensured under such conditions, but called for supporting the army and rallying with it.

“We do not feel sorry for those who escaped. It is a pity to look at those who from Stoleshnikov Lane in tight jeans and pink T-shirts stood in line for bicycles in Upper Lars. Patricks are gone! That's sadness! Before, sipping a strawberry mojito, these people were not bothered by anything but the freshness of the tiramisu and the latest collection of sneakers, ”said Starovoit.

At the end of his “critical column,” he claims that he is proud of everyone who is now “rising to fight for the just cause of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers who beat the Nazis, from the remnants of which a new rot has sprouted that hit Ukraine.”

This is not the first official to criticize the state of the Russian army, especially in connection with the successful counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the announcement of the mobilization, the media began to massively write about cases when military registration and enlistment offices demanded that men called up on subpoenas bring underpants, warm clothes, and, preferably, bulletproof vests. State Duma deputy from Transbaikalia, Lieutenant-General Andrey Gurulev, publicly announced the disappearance of 1.5 million sets of uniforms: “I still don’t understand where the 1.5 million sets [forms] that were stored at the points of reception of personnel have gone. Today we have problems either with the form, or with something else. It was all there, where did it evaporate? No one anywhere can explain this!
